Crystal Bar Bracelet

Hey, friends! I have a quick and easy jewelry project for you today that I think you’re going to like. It’s a simple bracelet but it has a lot of sparkle. It works just as well with a date night outfit as it does with a t-shirt and jeans, and it took me less than 15 minutes to create. Here’s how you can make one too:

I like to link to exact products I used when possible, so you can duplicate the project if you like. Some of the links below are affiliate links.

Step 1: Bend your bar slightly using bracelet bending pliers. If you don’t have these {you really should get some} you can skip this step and leave the bar flat, but giving it a slight curve helps it to lay nicely on your wrist and keeps it from turning around as you’re wearing it. All you have to do is put one end the bar inside the pliers and give a gentle squeeze, then slide it over and continue until you’ve bent the whole thing.

Step 2: Apply your crystals. To do this, I like to put my glue on a toothpick, then use the toothpick to apply just a tiny drop of glue to the bar itself. That way you don’t get an excess of glue that’s visible and makes your bracelet look sloppy. I started by putting a crystal in the center, then worked out toward each side. My bar ended up holding 11 of them.

Step 3: Attach a jump ring to each side of the bar, then attach a piece of chain to each ring. Remember, always twist the ends of jump rings away from each other rather than pulling them apart so that they maintain their shape when you close them.

Step 4: Attach a jump ring to each end of the chain and add a lobster clasp to one of the rings so that you can open and close the bracelet.

All that’s left to do is wear it and make your friends wonder where you bought such a pretty bracelet!
