Casual Elegance Mason Jar Vase

Hey, friends!  As you know, I recently got to test drive some of the fabulous new products from the David Tutera Casual Elegance line. So far, I showed you my Nautical Soap Dispenser and my Outdoor Party Place Settings.  Today, I have another project to show you that I created using that fun stash!  Take a look…

Materials:

– mason jar
– David Tutera Lace Ribbon Wrap
– David Tutera Burlap Flowers
– David Tutera jute

STEP 1: Wrap lace ribbon around your jar, pulling somewhat tightly.  Remove backing from the adhesive strip and attach it to the lace.

STEP 2: Wrap jute around the jar five times, toward the top of the lace ribbon.  Tie tightly in front and trim ends.

STEP 3: Cut three burlap flowers from their stem and attach, either by using hot glue or by wrapping the wire stems tightly around the jute and twisting.  If you opt to simply twist the stems instead of using glue, the whole thing can easily be taken apart without damaging any of the supplies.

STEP 4: Fill and enjoy!  If you like, you can use stones or marbles as vase filler, or you can simply fill the jar with water and put your favorite flowers inside!

I absolutely love how my vase turned out; it’s perfect for an outdoor party, a shower, or a wedding!  It’s so simple and rustic but so elegant at the same time!

What do you think?  I have to tell you, I am just loving this product line…the lace and burlap, oooooh!  It’s so easy to use and I love the versatility of it all.  Would you use it in your crafting?

Hugs & Glitter,

siggy
