Red like Raspberry

I don’t know about you, but I love me a good meal at the Olive Garden.  But I have to admit that as good as the seafood portofino and the yummy salad and breadsticks are, I really go there for the tea.  Yup.  Bellini Peach-Raspberry Iced Tea.  It’s freakin’ fabulous.
{Meanwhile, I need to start watching what I say since last night Noah looked at his dessert and announced to our whole Bible Study group, “That’s a big freakin’ cookie!”  Oh, mama fail.}
Anyway, the tea.  It’s a deliciously sweet and fruity treat and it even has cute little peaches floating in it.  I always need at least one refill.  Imagine my excitement when my mom told me yesterday that she’d found a recipe to make it at home!  She brought me a mug full and let me tell you, I was in love.  It’s just as good as what you get at the restaurant, which will make hubby happy because then he doesn’t have to buy me a meal every time I want some. ;)
I know you want to make some too, so here’s the recipe!
Peach-Raspberry Iced Tea
Ingredients:
5 teabags {we used decaf}
4 Cups water
8-10 frozen peach slices
1/4 Cup raspberry syrup {Mom got hers at Weis}
2 T sugar
Bring water to a boil, pour over tea bags, and steep for 3-5 minutes.  Remove tea bags and chill tea.
In a bowl, combine frozen peach slices, sugar, and raspberry syrup.  Mix and chill until peaches thaw and sugar dissolves.
When you’re ready to drink it, pour 4T of the syrup mixture in a glass and fill glass with tea.  You can also mix it all together ahead of time, but if it’s mixed together too long, the peaches get mushy and it’s not as good.
It’s cheap, it’s easy, and boy oh boy is it tasty!!!
On another note…
I need your opinions.  For years I’ve wanted to experiment a little and dye my hair auburnish.  I even bought a box one time to do it at home and chickened out.  I’ve never dyed my hair before, just got some highlights one time that I ended up not liking because the color wasn’t what I’d wanted.  Anyway, I have this picture of myself from our beach vacation last year where for some odd reason, my hair looks close to the color I’m thinking about.  I don’t know if it was the lighting or the flowers or what, but here it is to give you an idea.
Here’s another pic from the same exact photo shoot where you can see the real color.

What do you think?  Should I take the plunge?  Or should I keep my original color?  Oy, I’m so indecisive!

    I have had every color in the rainbow in different shades, except for blue. I have also had wide range of haircuts/styles. Hair is a changeable canvas. I say take the plunge. If you like great, if you don’t… choose a new color. You will never know unless you try:)

    Oh definitely give it a try. I have had grey hair since I was 23 (nearly 20 years ago) and so have been dying it since then. It’s a lot of fun to change it up. In the last couple of years I’ve gone to a much darker ash brown that I love. You don’t know if you don’t try. Do it!! Do it!!
