Glitter Keychains with Monograms

Glitter Keychains

You probably already know from previous posts I’ve shared that I have some pretty amazing friends. I’ve told you about the special group of moms in my life and how we support and encourage each other just about every single day. One day in a group Facebook chat, we were lamenting the need for Starbucks delivery and joked that we should start our own delivery service. It would be a glitter van {because glitter makes everything better} and over time, we’ve come to decide that the glitter van ought to deliver more than just coffee. At the present time, we have also mentally stocked it with chocolate, wine, hugs, tiaras, medicine for sick kiddos, and a few other things I can’t quite mention on the blog. So, for Christmas, my friend Mel came up with the fun idea of giving each of us a special keychain for this imaginary glitter van. She came to me asking if it was something I could make {of course!}, so here’s what I did.

This project is really easy and surprisingly not very messy at all.

Materials:

Keychain with Round Bezel
– Glittered Scrapbook Paper, your choice of colors
– Alphabet Stickers
– Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
– Scissors

Step 1: Cut a circle from the glittered paper that fits inside your bezel.

Step 2: Apply a small amount of Mod Podge to the bezel and place the paper circle on top.

Step 3: Add an alphabet sticker.

Step 4: Apply a thin coat of Mod Podge Dimensional Magic over the entire top of the keychain to seal.

I love the different looks you get when you use different colors, and I’m sure other fonts and colors of stickers would make them look unique too. These are really quick and easy to whip up, inexpensive, and would make a great gift for anyone on your list. You can also use other types of scrapbook paper if the recipient isn’t a fan of glitter or is a guy. I think they’re so pretty and personal, not to mention “honestly doable”!

Who in your life would love to receive one of these for Christmas?
