All About Mom Book: Review & Giveaway from Paper Coterie!

Friends, did you realize that Mother’s Day is just three short weeks away?  Have you started thinking about what you might want to do for the moms in your life {and what those of you who are moms yourselves might want to ask for}?  I want to show you something today that I absolutely fell in love with at first sight.  Usually, I share DIY, or Do-It-Yourself, projects; this is a DIT, Do-it-Together, project I couldn’t resist!

Take a look at the “All About My Mom” Photo Book from Paper Coterie!

If you’re sentimental and/or a photo lover like me, this is going to be right up your alley!  Paper Coterie has a new book you can make, just in time for Mother’s Day, called “All About My Mom.”  It’s already pre-designed, all you have to do is add in your own photos, then when you receive it, you can plan a special time to sit down together with your child{ren} and help them fill it out.  Take a look at a few pages from mine:

There are places for them to write all kinds of stats about you, like height, eye color, hair color, and things that make you happy.  There’s a place for them to describe the many hats you wear, like “My mom is a”…
LC’s response, although I haven’t written it yet is: “My mom is a hugger, a kisser, a dancer.”

One page is devoted to things you often say, while another asks what things you’re really good at doing!
LC’s response: “Hugging me and loving me.  Kissing me.  Dancing.  Coming upstairs with us in Little People’s Church.”

A place to tell what you do that makes them laugh…
LC says: “tickling me” He also made a particular silly face I tend to make at him.

Your child{ren} even get to write about why they’re proud of you {sniffle}!  I can’t wait to see what he has to say for that one!

As soon as I saw it on the website, I knew I had to have one!  It was super-easy to make since all the formatting is done.  All you have to do is upload photos and plug them in on whatever page you want.  {Why yes, yes I did make and order my own Mother’s Day present…}
ANYway, I finished it in one evening, received it really quickly, and am so happy with the finished product!  The photo quality, color, and design are all fantastic, and just like LC’s Quotables book, this is going to become a treasured keepsake.  Not to mention the quality time we get to spend talking together as we fill it out.

Thinking of getting one for yourself or for another mom in your life?  Here are a few important things you should know?

* The deadline to order and receive your book in time for Mother’s Day with standard shipping is Friday, April 26th!

    I would have it made for me!!! Why? Because I am an ‘older’ mommy to my 7yr old tag-a-long, and grandma to his two big brothers kiddos! ;0)
