Hi, friends! Today, I wanted to share with you a quick, simple centerpiece Little Crafter and I whipped up the other day for Spring! It would look adorable on your Easter table, and will still be cute and festive in April and May too!
Materials:
– vase {ours was less than $3 at Walmart}
– adhesive vinyl
– cutting machine or scissors
– shredded basket filler
– candle
– jelly beans {optional}
STEP 1: First, we cut 1″ circles from turquoise, yellow, and light purple vinyl.
We, of course, cut ours with our beloved “Cammie” {Silhouette Cameo} but you could also trace and cut them by hand if you don’t have one. I used Oracal 631 vinyl, the indoor kind that is easy to remove and re-adhere.
STEP 2: Stick circles on vase in a random pattern. This was Little Crafter’s job.
STEP 3: Put basket filler in vase and add your candle.
There you have it; a cheerful and spring-y centerpiece you can make in about ten minutes.
One thing you need to know about our house, though, is that whenever I have a centerpiece on the table with nothing edible inside, my “brother” Matt throws a fit. So, we decided to add in some jelly beans to keep him happy when he visits. After Easter we’ll take them back out {that is, if there are any left…}
Special thanks to Little Crafter and Mickey Mouse, without whose help this project would have gone a lot faster but been a lot less fun!
And, special thanks to Create&Babble, where we got the idea to put polkadots on a vase.
Hugs & Glitter,
