A time to re-evaluate.
A chance to start over.
A time to set goals and get priorities in order.
Here's what I came up with.
WANT - What I really want in 2013 is:
- quality family time
- to make memories
- to create
- growth and success for my blog
- to exercise regularly
- to make the right decision about LC's education
NEED - What I really need in 2013 is:
- to make a decision about my dance business
- joy
- contentment
- spiritual growth
- to develop and strengthen meaningful female friendships and build in some girl-time
SHARE - What I will share in 2013 is:
- inspiration
- myself
- wisdom
- my crafting supplies {especially with Erin and the Crafty Ladies}
SUCCEED - In 2013, I will succeed at:
- inspiring others
- finishing my e-book
- being an awesome mom
- learning Argentine Tango
- Craftgawker...haha
- starting a monthly crafting group
As I looked at my goals and responses, I came to the decision that my word for 2013 is going to be:
Refocus
Refocus on my family. Refocus on God. Refocus on relationships. Refocus my priorities so I spend more time doing what I love with the people I love. Refocus my ideas about work and business.
Read the Bible daily
Exercise
Family time
Organize
Create
Understand my goals
Simplify

LOVE it, Amy! I usually have enough trouble finding FOCUS never mind the RE-Focus! lol. I pray that all is yours this ne year in accordance with God's wonderful plans for you! Happy New Year! I love the acrostic too! I might use it to help me! ;)
ReplyDeleteAmy, great pick for you! I love your reasons (Especially the share with Erin part...and the "more girl time!")...love you so much dear friend!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year and great post. My word for 2012 was "focus" and I debated about re-focus for 2013. I'm still deciding on my word ( maybe it should be decision lol).
ReplyDeleteGreat post...I love the acrostic...monthly crafts sounds like a fun idea...you are so crafty...
ReplyDeleteI also need to refocus...and become a better listener...and do more to help others.
I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy word for 2013 is "create". Create memories, create an atmosphere for growth and learning, etc.
Inspiring post, truly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great word! I finally settled on Purpose for my word. It will (hopefully) be my guide to keep things meaningful and intentional.
ReplyDeleteYou are so inspirational Amy! I like your list!
ReplyDeleteI loved reading this post! So many wonderful goals :)
ReplyDeleteRefocus I love it! I picked SAVOR as in slow down, take it in and make it count. Also wanted to let you know I couldn't help but feature your jewelry stand at tonight's link party :)
ReplyDeleteMan I wish we lived closer to each other. I would love to be in a crafting group with you, and I could use some more girl friends myself! I chose hope as my word for this year. I need to refocus on my faith and try to gain my hope back as well. I wish us all luck with our words and of course wish us health, happiness and peace in the new year.
