Quotables Book Giveaway: Paper Coterie

When Little Crafter was a baby, I think I took a photo of just about every single thing he did as he grew and changed and learned new things.  I even have a photo of him sneezing.  But nowadays, what I really want to remember are the crazy, silly, hilarious things he says.  At 4, he has the vocabulary of a 14 year old, and it seems like every day he says something new that totally cracks us up.  Which is why I flipped out when I saw this Quotables book from Paper Coterie.
Quotable
What is it?  Well, I'm glad you asked.  In some ways, it's like a photo scrapbook, but it's specially designed to be a place to record all those funny and inspiring things kids say!  It's mostly predesigned, so the hard work is done for you, you just get to plug in your own photos and make it totally personal.  See?

Here are some of the features ít has:
- a plastic cover {I love this because it protects the cover from spills, tears, etc.}
- 32 pages with spots for 16-19 photos
- coil-bound with elastic closure {makes it easier to write in}
- printed on premium, uncoated, 100% recycled fiber paper {it's really high-quality paper!  I write on it with a fine point sharpie and the marker doesn't bleed through}

And here's a peek at our book...forgive the crummy photos, I had to send my Nikon away to fix something I broken when I knocked it off the table while distressing a wooden sign...but that's another story.
These are just a few of the pages I'm totally in love with.  Seriously, this book is so. stinking. gorgeous.  It literally took my breath away when I opened the package and flipped through for the first time.  The photos are crystal clear, the colors are vibrant, and I just love having so many places to record LC's sayings.

Want to "hear" a few of my favorites?
"Dear Jesus, please help Daddy not to eat my lunch.  Amen."

"My foot is like a rock today." - kicking the football

"Will you wear something pretty for me?  I'll wear something nice for you." - getting ready for a Mama-LC dinner date

"That's as beautiful as it gets." - after banging out a made up song on the piano

Did I ever mention I love this kid?!
Anyway, back to business.  I am beyond excited because I have two things I get to offer to you today from Paper Coterie.

  6. I would record something from all the kids, maybe going back into memories for funny comments the older kids made or did. I have a feeling most of the book would be from my 5 and 2 year-olds.

  8. kids do say the darndest things!! In August, I remember asking my oldest nephew if he was excited for his new baby brother (due in October) and him telling me "well, I wasn't really expecting it.. soooo I don't really know yet" because his little brother was planned and prepped for, however the new baby was not so much :)

  17. My favorite product is the All About Me A-Z book. I am a firm believer in working with children on reading/phonics/vocab skills starting at a young age and this book would be great to connect things he knows with the letters they start with!
