Materials:
- blank canvas tote bag
- fabric paint
- stencil brush or sponge brush
- stencil
- painters'tabe
- paper bag
To prepare, iron your bag and place a paper bag inside so your paint doesn't bleed through {ask me how I know...}
So you can see I had some issues. Let me clarify that this is operator error, NOT the stencil's fault! I've used this stencil on five other projects {yes, I know, time for a new one...} and have never had a mess like this before. I was working too fast and didn't have my stencil adequately taped in place.
So, if you're careful and stencil correctly, you'll be done after this step. If, however, you happen to mess up like I did, you might want to continue with the tutorial...
All better! Amazing what a little black paint can do, no?

This looks great Amy! I love that pattern, what's it called?
