Meet the Top 5: Sarah

Happy weekend, friends!  Today, we're meeting the fourth of our Top 5 contestants, Sarah.

Here's a little reminder of what she's created for the contest rounds so far:

Hi friends, followers, and fellow bloggers! My name is Sarah and I blog over at Repeat Crafter Me. For as long as I can remember I have always been artsy craftsy. I worked professionally as a graphic designer for 6 years until I traded it in to become a stay-at-home mom. This is when I began doing craft projects at home and taught myself how to crochet during nap times. I wanted to be able to share my projects with others, so I jumped into the world of blogging and am enjoying every minute of it! You will find a little of everything on my blog. Kid Crafts, DIY projects, crochet patterns, and my attempts at cooking with the help of my Crock Pot. I've been having so much fun getting to know other bloggers and meeting moms just like me. Feel free to stop by my Facebook page to say hi or post a picture of what you are working on. I am always on the lookout for new inspiration!

Here are some pictures of me and my family. I have two boys who are almost exactly 2 years apart in age (their birthdays are 3 days apart!). Big Brother is 3 and Little Brother is 14 months. They definitely keep me on my toes :o)

Now for some Q&A!

1. The one crafting supply I can't do without is: My hot glue gun! I have one upstairs and one downstairs because it seems that whatever project I am working on, it is always in need of a little hot glue.

2. My favorite project I've made in this contest is: Monster Lovey Blankets. Ever since I threw my boys a monster themed birthday party, we (ok maybe it's just me) have had a little obsession with monsters around here. I love watching them snuggle with their handmade blankies.

3. My favorite project someone else made in this contest is: The DIY Personalized Coat Rack from Creative Carmella. It is a really beautiful custom piece that I would love to have in our mudroom!

4. At Starbucks, I love to order: Grande Passion Fruit Iced Tea Unsweetened. Hands down my favorite! I drink this multiple times a week (even in the winter!). I recently got my hubby addicted to it and my oldest likes it too!

5. If I could travel anywhere, I'd go: I have always wanted to go to Italy, but currently I am anxious for my boys to get a little older so we can take them to Disneyland! I know they would have the time of their lives and who can resist the magic of Disney?!

6. The best thing about crafting is: Crafting is therapeutic for me. I love "getting in my zone" and creating something handmade. And I love that my blog gives me the ability to share my creations with others.

I am having a wonderful time being a part of One Crafty Contest and feel so honored to be competing against such amazing talent. Thank you to everyone who has voted and commented on our projects. I am looking forward to Round 4!

  2. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Monster Lovey Blankets. I have two monsters here at home that would love them too :-) And I 100% hear you on Disneyland! Our oldest is 5 and dying to go, but our baby is only 11 months old...we want to wait until he is a little older to experience Disneyland. It is going to be so much fun! Keep up the GREAT work! I am loving all of your projects!

Your comments brighten my day! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts with me.

{P.S. - Are you a no-reply comment blogger? It makes me sad when I can't respond to your sweet comments. To change this, go to your profile and check "show my e-mail address". That's it!}
