Meet the Top 5: Robin

Hey, friends!  Today, we're continuing to meet our Top 5 Contestants...here's ROBIN!

Hello from the Fergusons!
Hello everyone! My name is Robin and I am the Mommy blogger behind Garage Sales R Us. I am so excited to be in the top 5 and feel so lucky! Thank you Amy for putting this awesome contest together!
As you may have already noticed my speciality is a little bit more on the interior design and upcycling side. I find all of my projects at garage sales hence the Garage Sales R Us blog name. Here is a quick recap of my projects I have sumbitted for the One Artsy Mama Craft Contest.
What you didn't know about me is that I also love to post about the fashion I find at garage sales and second hand stores.
Here is my latest Fashion on a Dime. The Financial stats for this outfit are:
Red pants- $5.99 at Savers
White and black striped shirt- $5.99 at Savers
Black and gold studded flip flops- $1 dollar at a garage sale
Gold necklace- $4.50 on a Rue 21 clearance sale
Total outfit cost: $17.50
Dress Per Wear Factor $1.75!

A little bit more about me:
  • The one crafting supply I can not live without would be my eyebrows scissors! I know it sounds crazy but when I need to cut something that is really close to an edge or has a lot of detail on it I go straight upstairs to my makeup bag and grab my trimming scissors. I also can not live without my paint roller and sanding block!
  • My favorite project I have submitted to the One Artsy Mama contest would be my DIY chandelier that's hanging in my daughters room.
  • My favorite project that had been made would probably be either the knock off Anthropology necklace Melanie made in the entry round or the Sesame Street lamp tutorial Sarah made in the entry round or the DIY coat rack Carmella made, oh and I love the zebra ottoman and the mustard rug in the fabric rounds. There's too many to just pick one!
  • At Starbucks I would order a strawberry frappuccino.
  •  I would travel to Paris and Rome.
  •  The best thing about crafting is that it gives me a sense of accomplishment and that I can do it at home while I take care of my girls.
Thanks for taking the time to read! I would love it if you would stop by Garage Sales R Us and follow along with us each week as I show everyone what we find each week and the amazing things we do with our finds! There's also a spot for the hubby called "This is a Man's World".

Thanks, Robin, and good luck in the next round!
