Top 10 Thursday!

Happy Thursday, friends!
Whew, it's been a busy week here at One Artsy Mama and it's not even over yet!  First, I got to announce my crazy-fun panel of "super judges" for One Crafty Contest, then I got to officially open the contest to all you crafters out there!

So far, almost fifty fantastic projects are linked up...how are we ever going to choose just 20 contestants?  If you missed it, be sure to stop by and enter here; you have until May 13 to apply!  Also, be sure to check out the judges and each of their bios!

In the midst of all the craziness, I have to confess that I didn't get a chance to visit as many of the links from last week's Shine on Fridays party as I normally do.  My sincere apologies if I didn't stop by and leave a note.  I feel like a bad hostess...please know how glad I am that each of you joined the party!  Today, I want to show you a few of my favorite links from last week; hope you enjoy them too!

FOR THE HOME

Painted Utility Rug: Vixen Made
I was floored by this project!  She took a plain old ugly utility rug, added some spray paint and a DIY stencil technique to make this beauty!  Loving the colors and pattern...I want!

Flower Wall Art: Creative Passage
Ellen did a gorgeous job using scraps to make a beautiful piece of art for the home.  I totally want to try this!

Terrycloth Pillows:  Turtles and Tails
Can you believe this pretty pillow used to be a towel?  Check it out!  I'm all about the colors and the stripes too.

Special Dates Art: Two Yellow Birds Decor
Jill made such a special, meaningful piece of decor using the birthdates of everyone in her family plus her wedding anniversary...how sweet is that?!

FOR YOU

Mama's Messenger Bag: Cheap Crafty Mama
Kate whipped up this fun bag to replace her current diaper bag...isn't it fun?

Paint Chip Calendar: Sew Fantastic
Who knew you could make a calendar out of paint chips?  And it's dry erase, so it's easy to change if your plans do!  The colors remind me of the beach, so that's an extra "like" from me!

FOR THE KIDS

Petal Flower Shirt: Southern Lovely
Loving this sweet shirt...an easy way to add some personality to a plain old top!

Sweet Owl Handprint Art: Rips in My Jeans
I'm such a sucker for hand and foot print art...how cute are these owls?

FOR THE TUMMY

Homestyle Fried Rice: One Dog Woof
Chi Wei has me drooling with this delicious looking fried rice recipe!

Puff Pastry Mini Apple Bites: Making Memories With Your Kids
Apples, cinnamon, sugar, puff pastry....I'm so in!

FOR THE GARDEN

Drip Paint Pottery: Clever Nest
I'm all about this fun paint drip technique!  I so want to do it, except that I just painted all my pots last week!  Ack!  I think it's time for a Michaels trip, don't you?

So were you counting?  If so, you'll see you got a little more for your money this week. ;)  I couldn't pick!
Anyway, hope you enjoyed the features.  Can't wait to see what you all have to share at tomorrow's party!

Oh, and I promise to post some more of my own craftiness soon...we've been in the process of switching things around at home and making the former craft room the office so I can spread out my crafting supplies downstairs.  I think the new arrangement is going to work better for everyone, but I'll just be glad when all my things are where they go so I can start making a mess, I mean crafting again!

Happy Crafting!
