Pass It On

Last month, I got a sweet email from one of my newer bloggy buddies, Hilani from over at Handmade by Hilani.  She told me that she was participating in something called the “Pass it On” Project and asked if I would be willing to play along.  Here’s how it works.
The person who contacted you {in my case, Hilani}, sends you two handmade items.  One is for you to keep, the other is to give away to a friend
Then, you choose two crafty buddies you admire and send each of them two handmade items, which they in turn will keep and give away.
Finally, you blog about it and have a little show and tell about what you got and what you gave.  So…here goes!

Hilani chose to send me two of her fun fabric bracelets.  I kept the one you see me wearing in the photo {and at least once a week}, and gave the other one to my mom, who loves it!  And, because she’s extra sweet, Hilani also threw a coffee cozy in for me.  Or maybe it’s because she knows I’m a hopeless Starbucks addict.  Either way, I loooove it!  I think the fabric is adorable and I love how it velcros so that it fits any size drink I feel like ordering.  Thank you soooooo much, friend!
For my turn, I chose to send some goodies to my friends Lindsay from Southern Lovely
and
Steph from Silver Boxes.
For Lindsay, I made two Scrabble tile pendants; one with cherries and the other with a cute brown and pink pattern.

Steph told me she’s more of a bracelet kind of gal, so I used Hilani’s fabulous tutorial to try and make her some fabric bracelets much like the fun ones I received.
I had fun making the projects; hope you enjoy them, Lindsay and Steph!  Now it’s your turn to pass it on!
Happy Crafting!
