Are you ready to meet Super-Judge #4?
Areas of Expertise: Painting, Home Decor, Kids Crafts, Jewelry, Paper Crafts
Hey everyone, I'm happy to be here! Or should I say I'm giddy with the power which has been bestowed upon me as a judge of this fabulous contest. Bwah, hah, hah, hah (that's my evil laugh as I sinisterly drum my fingers together!) Thank you, Amy, for allowing me this privilege. So let me introduce myself, I'm Kimberly, mom to 6 awesome kids ages 16, 13, 9, and triplets who are almost 7; wife to my wonderful husband, Bill; piano teacher; organizing nazi and lover of crafts of all kinds. I also like watching movies or reading a good book, but most of all, I love spending time with my family. I enjoy blogging about it all at The Brown Eyes Have It, where my oldest and I, as the only green-eyes in the family, are greatly outnumbered by all the brown-eyes in our home.
To answer Amy's Super 6 questions:
The
one crafting supply I can't do without is: probably my computer. I get my inspiration and directions from Pinterest, blogs, or other sources on-line; listen to music on Pandora; watch missed episodes of my favorite TV shows; or stream movies to my TV through my computer - all crafting necessities.
My favorite crafting project ever is:
My favorite crafting project ever is:
My mirror to chalkboard upcycle - It's the project that made me decide to change my blog from a family blog to what it is now. I was so proud of the transformation and I use it weekly in my kitchen still.
My favorite Starbucks drink is: Well, the closest Starbucks is 30 miles away in Barnes & Noble, I think; I’m not a coffee drinker; and don’t hate me, Amy, but I really don’t like the smell of coffee. So that being said, I’ll take a vanilla Coke any day.
If I could visit anywhere in the world, I'd choose: anywhere! My husband's not a traveler, so we don't travel much.
The best thing about crafting is: some "me" time! Plus a sense of accomplishment at what I've created, joy at learning something new, and the fun of teaching it to or sharing it with my family. My oldest daughters often scrapbook or make jewelry with me, that is so much fun!

I'm
looking forward to judging because: I can't wait to be inspired by all of you and see all of your fantastic creations. I've been in many
competitions, but this is the first time I get to be behind the scenes as a
judge, pretty cool!
Welcome, Captain!
Alright, friends, come back tomorrow to meet judge #5...although I have a suspicion most of you already know her pretty well...

Oh Kim, you are too fun .... I love the last photo of you crafting with the help of your daughter--that is so awesome! So happy I found your blog, and am getting to know you better! And I am on your team in your house-- green/hazel eyes! :)
