Get Ready for One Crafty Contest

It’s Coming…
Here are a few more specifics about how it’s going to work:
Applications to be a judge must be submitted by midnight on Monday, April 23.  I will review the applications, select judges and notify those who have been accepted.  Judges will be announced here on the blog on April 30 and each one will have a chance to introduce herself to you throughout that week.
Beginning May 1, interested contestants will have the opportunity to link an original project they’ve created in the last six months.  Our “top 20″ contestants will be announced on May 15, and the contest will proceed from there.  The topic for each round will be posted on Wednesdays, contestants will submit photos of their projects by the following Monday, and readers will have a chance to vote.  The judges will then look at those in danger of elimination and “save” one contestant.  The contestants who are moving on will be announced Tuesday nights.
The materials contestants will be asked to use {in no particular order} are: fabric, mod podge, wood, stencils, and beads.
The overall top 3 winners will receive some great prizes!  Thanks to everyone who has donated so far.  If you’re interested in donating something, follow this link and sign up!  Also, the winner {top vote recipient} of each round will receive a special prize.  We have prizes lined up from all kinds of individual donors, Etsy shops, and companies, including Cutting Edge Stencils,, and Pick Your Plum.
