Loopy Rainbow
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, friends!
Yes, it’s blogiversary day, and yes we have plenty of giveaways, but it’s also only fitting to show you our fun little St. Patty’s craft, right?
Yesterday, we were supposed to have a fun craft playdate with some friends, but due to Little Crafter’s sinus infection, complete with a trip to the doctor, a fever and general yuckiness, we opted to craft solo. We were totally, thoroughly bummed, but we decided to make us a Fruit Loop rainbow anyway. It was only fitting since both of us were feeling a little loopy from a major lack of sleep!
{You know how it goes, when sick child doesn’t sleep, nobody sleeps!}
I’ll spare you a tutorial on this one even though it’s obviously rocket science, but here are a few pics of the fun…
He’s really good at sorting. When I dumped them out on the floor, he looked at me and said, “Mommy, we don’t usually put the Fruit Loops on the floor!” No, darling…no, we don’t.
Apparently we’re starting to feel better and get an appetite back…
Ta-da! My loopy boy and his loopy rainbow. Like the Scooby Doo sticker he got from the doctor? Our pediatrician has the most gigantic stickers, and if you forget to take them off your shirt {like the four he had on after Wednesday’s visit that he puked all over}, the sticky stuff will never ever come off and it’ll ruin your favorite Ghostbusters tee. Just sayin’.
Good thing we have a special new shirt for today…someone is VERY excited to wear it and be a crafty lil’ leprechaun.
Happy St. Patty’s Day!
