Shine On Fridays #7 {and some fabulous features}!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE-EVE!
Can you believe it, friends?!  Christmas is just two short little days away!  Are you getting as excited as Little Crafter and I are?
Meanwhile, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with all the things I still have to do between now and tomorrow morning when the family shows up for Christmas Eve lunch!  {Pop by the blog tomorrow to see our Christmas Eve traditions!}
But, hey, it’s an almost-holiday, so I say LET’S PARTY!
Here are four of last week’s eight most popular projects and one of my personal favorites.  Jump over to Happy Go Lucky to see the others plus Kara’s fave!

Apparently, we’re all sick of Christmas cookies already, because this “Alternative to Cookies” post was a big hit!  Teaching “Good” Eaters shows how to make these Spicy Nuts.
And, you all were just as intrigued as I was by this, um, interesting photo titled “What NOT To Wear Xmas Edition.”  Yikes!  Inspired by Family has some great tips for what fashions to wear and which ones to avoid this holiday season!
Who doesn’t love a sock monkey?!  We’re crazy about them here in the Artsy house, so I’m not surprised that one of the top viewed projects was this adorable Sock Monkey Ornament!  Amy {such a lovely name, isn’t it? :) } over at My Little One-Room Schoolhouse shares her pattern so you can crochet one too!
And we all loved this Christmas Banner with Chevron and Quatrefoil made by Becca from From Gardners 2 Bergers and guest posted at A Simply Klassic Home.
One of my personal favorites this week {and trust me, I had plenty!} was this Fortune Cookie Ornament with a complete tutorial from Melissa over at Love Bug Living.  It may look familiar since she donated one for my birthday giveaway last week!  I begged her to make me one too because fortune cookies mean a lot to the Artsy Family.  Hubby and I had our first “official” date at a Chinese restaurant, and when he proposed five months later, he somehow managed to get the proposal inside a real fortune cookie {and get the other fortune out} so that when I opened it, my fortune read, “Will you marry me?”  Quite the romantic, isn’t he?  Anyway, Melissa is so sweet that she’s sending me one of these cuties…how special is that?!
I’ll be featuring some more favorites on the One Artsy Mama Facebook page, so be sure to stop by!
Well, looks like it’s your turn!
