One of my favorite things about fall {besides the seasonal drinks at Starbucks} is that I get to break out my chilly weather wardrobe. Sweaters, long sleeves, boots, and yes, it's scarf season! I just learned a fun new way to tie a scarf and thought I'd share it in case you like it as much as I do.
{My apologies in advance for the crummy photos and the bad hair day...using the self-timer doesn't always equal quality results!}
Step 1: Fold scarf in half and wrap around your neck with the loop on one side and the two ends on the other.
Step 2: Pull one end through the loop, leaving the other one out.
Step 3: Twist the loop one time below where the end comes through it. Insert the second end.
Step 4: Pull gently to tighten.
Here is a close up look of the knot.
Here it is with a thinner, solid colored scarf so you can see the knot a little more clearly.
I thought it was a fun twist on the "normal" way I tie them. Like it?

Ooo, too cool! I can't wait to try it!!!! I love the way a scarf can class-up any outfit. Scarves make me look more fashionable than I really am. I get the same affect with hats!
