This week, we're looking at 5 great ideas for homemade Christmas gifts!
So far, we've talked about:
Today's idea is...Edible Goodies!
One of the easiest things to do for your neighbors and friends is to make a variety of yummy Christmas cookies and package them in a cute holiday tin. Last year, Little Crafter and I had fun making and decorating these red and green sugar cookies...although they have quite a story. We had made them for our family Christmas Eve celebration, and while I was getting dressed poor hubby {who was really just being sweet and didn't realize what they were for} grabbed the entire tin full of green ones and ran out to give them to the trash collector who was working on Christmas Eve morning. So, we had a plate full of red ones, and some garbage man was very, very happy. :) See, it's a gift anyone will love!
Gingerbread men {and women!} are another fun gift to make and eat...little helpers will enjoy putting the faces and decorations on too! These are the ones Little Crafter helped create last year.
I wish I could take credit for these Melting Snowman Cookies, but I found them on Pinterest {where else?}. Wouldn't these be adorable wrapped up in a cute little package?
When I saw this Peppermint Stick Cocoa gift idea, I just had to pin it...Yummmm! Reminds me of Starbucks peppermint hot chocolate, and you can make it at home! It's such an attractive mix too, isn't it?

Candy Coated Pretzels are another easy thing to make and are always appreciated! You can use any color candy melts or chocolate, plus whatever sprinkles you want. For a tutorial, click here!

I thought this S'More Love package would be an adorable little gift for anyone on the list...you could also make it say S'more Smiles, S'more Friendship, or anything you like.

This Teacher Gift is not only colorful and fun, it also has a sweet little accompanying poem that is sure to make any educator feel appreciated.

"Green is for the inspiration you give me each day. Blue is for your patience in showing me the way. Orange is for your warmth and caring style. Yellow is for the way you always make me smile. Red is for my life that you have touched this year. You place knowledge in my hands, that melt into my heart and live forever! You're a "Magnificent" & "Marvelous" Teacher! Thank you for being my M&M!"
There are so many great ideas out there...what are your favorite edible gifts?
Be sure to share them, or any of your holiday projects and ideas, at the {Our} Home for the Holidays party! And come back tomorrow for idea #5!
Happy gifting!
