Features: My Favorite Thanksgiving Projects

Are you loving all the projects linked up to the {Our} Home for the Holidays series so far?!
I just get so excited about all this great seasonal inspiration.  I want to feature everything, but I thought that since we’re just two weeks away from Thanksgiving, I’d stick to highlighting my favorite turkey-day projects since we’ll have plenty of time to look at the Christmas ones after we…
Soooo…here are a few of my faves that I know you’re just going to love too!
Looking for simple but chic placecards for your Thanksgiving table?  Emily at 52 Mantels shares four different ideas to choose from, including this pretty DIY flower!  Looks deserving of a “You’d Make Martha Proud” Award to me!
How gorgeous is this Chevron frame made from real wheat heads?  And if that weren’t enough, how about the quote below it?  Nike from Choose to Thrive made both, plus a pennant banner made of sugar cookies and an adorable turkey made from cookies and candy.  Her blog is definitely worth checking out…so many awesome ideas!  She gets the, “I’m So Following Your Blog” Award!  {or maybe the “Can I Have Your House” Award}…

Are you ready for this?  These are Caramel Stuffed Apple Cider Cookies from The Rickett Chronicles.  If the iPhone comes out with a scratch and sniff app, or better yet, a lick and taste one, I’m totally in.  I just want to reach through the screen and grab one of these little delights!
The “You’re Making Me Drool” Award!, yes?
I’m loving this Free Thanksgiving Printable from Bonjour!  Head on over and download your copy!  She’s got all the important stuff in this piece of subway art: blessings, pie, family, and football!
One “Digital Delight” Award coming up!
Time for a special award:
These dry erase Thankful Placemats linked up by Baby Jayne’s are just plain genius!  She made them using simple fabric placemats and plastic…and she has a great tutorial to show you how to make your own!  Little Crafter would looooove one of these!

Ready for the winner of this week’s most coveted award?
This Thanksgiving Blessing Mix from Kyra at Caramel Potatoes was my absolute favorite Thanksgiving project linked up so far…I love the meanings behind each “blessing,” and it’s such a fun, simple, but special favor for everyone around your Turkey day table.  And, not only does Kyra include instructions, it also has a free printable label for you to use!  We are so making these!  {Family, be surprised, k?}

Hope you enjoyed this week’s features!  I’ll be featuring some others on the Facebook page too throughout the week, so stay tuned there!  Annnnd….here’s what’s coming up at One Artsy Mama:
Tomorrow {11-11-11!}: The first ever Shine On Fridays weekly link party!
One Artsy Mama
Join us to kick off the party and share any projects or recipes or other fun things you’ve been working on!
Saturday: Krista from While He Was Napping shares her Christmas binder tradition
Sunday: Kayla from Sweet Anne designs shares a holiday gift idea complete with a free printable
Next Monday – Friday: I’ll be sharing my top 5 homemade gift ideas!  I’ll also be guest posting at Seven Alive and Sunny Vanilla.
And of course, the {Our} Home for the Holidays party is still up and running through the end of the year for all of your holiday themed posts and projects!  Whew!  I’m tired just thinking about it all!  See you soon!
