Celebrating 200!

*Happy Dance!*

It was so exciting to see that magic number, 200 followers!

I can't begin to tell you what an encouragement and a blessing it is to me to reach this milestone.

I thought that I'd take this opportunity to share just a little about what this journey has meant to me so far and about myself, the mama behind the blog.

Why I started blogging:

- to share the ideas and projects we were doing so others could enjoy them too

- to have an outlet since I'm currently staying at home

- to get some sort of validation for what I do as a SAHM

Things I didn't expect:

- to 'meet' so many amazing people

- to gain a significant following

- to start an Etsy shop

- to gain sooooo much inspiration; far more than I give!

- to learn basic HTML code

- to be up for a Parents magazine best blog award! {ps. have you voted? :)}

I am a(n):

- shopping for clothes

- playing the piano and singing

- Lucky and Family Fun magazines

- Ravens football

I don't love:

- snakes

- spiders and other insects, particularly in my house

- the fact that no matter how much laundry I do, I'm never caught up

- bathroom cleaning

- long car rides

- ignorance

- winter weather

- February

- changing diapers

- disappointing people

- flying

- lightning storms

- doctors' offices and germs

How I'm going to celebrate 200 followers {and my upcoming 6 month blogaversary}:

- with a bit of a blog makeover!  Did you notice the new header and the little sidebar titles?  And I made me some social media buttons too!  I wanted something a little more streamlined and pulled together...do you like it?
