So I've noticed that in the blogging world, there are a lot of people who post about "What I Wore Wednesday."  I've never done it before, first of all because I don't always look my finest on a Wednesday morning, and second, because I'm not sure the general public is super interested in my daily fashion.  But I do enjoy looking at other people's outfits, so maybe I'm wrong on that one.  Anyway, I decided to give it a try this week...in part because I've been too busy with Vacation Bible School to do much posting and also because I can't resist showing you my new favorite dress!

I got it on clearance at Express last week and it cost me less than $9.  I've been participating in an online survey group called e-rewards for awhile now, and basically they send you surveys, you can choose to answer them, and if you do, you get "rewards bucks" that you can cash in for real gift cards.  So far, I've earned two $25 gift cards to Express.  So, the dress came to a little over $33, and when I used one of my gift cards, that left me with an $8 and change balance.  Nice.  It's super comfy and I like that it can look either formal or more casual depending on how you accessorize it. 

Last night, I wore this when hubby and I went to a retirement dinner for one of the employees at his company.  I accessorized with the black chandelier earrings my friend Jess made me and my Popping Pink bracelet.  I got to wear my favorite dress and my favorite piece of jewelry at the same time...that's a win-win!

And while I have your attention, I can't resist showing you a picture of my sweet little VBS class...I just love these little guys!!!  They melt my heart.  Especially when they pray.
